MEGALITE HALL: A MULTI-MILLION NAIRA EVENTS CENTRE UNVEILED BY HOMAT IN IGBOGBO. | Shakiru Seidu. Presents 187 graduands of Nur/Pry pupils on Wednesday and sets to graduate over 450 Students on Saturday. An Ultra Modern multi-million naira Hall was inaugurated in Igbogbo by a business mogul, a philanthropist and the CEO of Homat Group of Schools, Alhaji Olawale Amusa on Wednesday, 12th of July, 2017.

The ultra modern hall was filled up to the maximum capacity with prominent personalities in the community. The opening prayer was made by Alfa R. A. Oshilaja and Mr J. T. Scott of C.C.C.

The commissioning of the hall followed immediately as the team of the Adeboruwa-in-Council led by High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo who represented His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo kingdom.

While at the official Commissioning of the Hall, Oba Kasali through Chief Odofin appreciated Alhaji Amusa for his philanthropic encomium and his contribution towards the development of Igbogbo community.

Kabiyesi enunciated the contribution of Homat towards the welfare of the Palace and the community at large, "His largesse indeed justified his chieftaincy title, as the Atunluse of Igbogbo land." Oba Kasali remarks.

Furthermore, the Publisher and Editor in Chief of Oriwu Sun, Alhaji Monsur Olowosago lauded the hospitality and humility of Homat's CEO, he therefore enjoined others to emulate his style.

The Chairman /CEO of Homat Conglomerate, Alhaji Olawale Amusa dedicated the Ultra Modern Hall, Megalite, to Igbogbo community and the Kabiyesi of Igbogbo kingdom.

Shortly after the speeches, High Chief Tajudeen Onasanya cut the ribbon and declared the Hall opened on behalf of HRM Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo land.

In the course of the ceremony, Igbogbo/Bayeku Info Magazine quickly engaged Chief Tajudeen Onasanya in an interview on the occasion. The High Chief affirmed that Alhaji Olawale Amusa has done unimaginable things for Igbogbo community because he has over 400 members of staff of which 60% of them are the indigene of Igbogbo.

"If every privileged leaders in Igbogbo could take after his hospitality, perhaps our community will be haven for us all." He explained. Odofin further said Alhaji Amusa is a rare gem because of his persistent and determination to glamorize Igbogbo community as a whole. He enjoined every other sons of the soil to emulate good things.

However, the event was equally earmarked to host the annual Graduation/Prize Giving Day celebration of Homat Group of Schools. The Constitution of the assembly was declared by the Odofin of Igbogbo.

The Chairman of the August occasion Alh. Monsur Olowosago (Oriwu Sun) insisted that children are the future of the parents, he urged the parents to give them quality education, while appealing to all to invest in their children. In the same vein, he prayed for Alhaji Amusa to continue to wax stronger.

Moreover, the Proprietress Alhaja S. Amusa delivered her speech and enjoined parents to be more concerned about the moral and academic development of their children. Mr. J. O. Alamu the headmaster of Homat Unique Nursery/Primary School Odogunyan read his speech on behalf of all the headmistresses of the other three Schools.

The event was bequeathed with different performances from the pupils of all the four schools which kept the parents awake. However, there came the turn of the Outgoing Head Prefect Oladesu Junior from Igbogbo (Homat Nur/Pry School) who gave the valedictory speech eloquently off hand on behalf of the graduating pupils. The graduating pupils took turn on the stage to give their dancing to entertain their parents. This of course ushered in the presentation of the certificates.
