IRE AKINDANA CDA led by Alhaji Azeez Jamiu, on Tuesday, 7th of February, 2017, paid a courtesy visit to HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, on his ascension to the throne of his forefathers.
The Chairman appreciated and thanked the King for his approach in tackling the challenges in Igbogbo community and for his uncommon style of leadership. He therefore appealed to the King to do everything humanly possible to ensure that Igbogbo is furnished with Banks, improve security and good road networks within Igbogbo community.
However, he further emphasized that they all believed in the leadership of the Kabiyesi and as such, the King is enjoined to adequately and efficiently use his office to revive the economic situation of Igbogbo community. Also, he affirmed that the approach of Kabiyesi towards the development of the basic social amenities in the community is no doubt commendable.
The leadership of Ire Akindana CDA believes that the power of prayer can surmount any obstacle. This of course metamorphosed to a special prayer session organized for Kabiyesi in respect of the visit. Pastor Steven Okuasor and the Chief Imam Ire Akindana, led the Christian and Muslim's prayer for His Royal Majesty respectively.
Oba Kasali therefore thanked the CDA for taking their time to visit him. He assured them that he's working assiduously to make sure Igbogbo Kingdom is among the developed communities in Lagos State.
