The Hausa community made an outstanding and a remarkable history as they came out enmasse on Tuesday, 7th of February, 2017, to visit HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Land in order to pledge their allegiance and cooperation with the people of the community.
They pleaded with the Kabiyesi, to embrace them as one big family who is interested in the peaceful coexistence of the community at large. Furthermore, they enjoined the King to endeavour to advise the Igbogbo residents who engage in business with them to be loyal and faithful by paying them accordingly.
Moreover, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali gladly welcome them and advised that, they should be mindful of the people they harbour so as to avoid harbouring BOKO HARAM members in the community. He further intimated them that the Palace is open to them always if their is any differences and to officially present their Seriki before the Palace.
The Odofin of Igbogbo, High Chief Tajudeen Onasanya did not hesitate to reiterate that they should ensure the transparency of anyone they intend to harbour and should shun all form of criminality.
On the final note, the Hausa community displayed their high level of generosity as they presented the King some food items such as tubers of yam and Onions.
