I LEARN A LOT FROM AMBODE'S STYLES - Agunbiade

Serving as a Principal Officer of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), in a government headed by a governor as determined to make impact as Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Hon. Sanai Oyeniran Bolanle Agunbiade, is absolutely enjoying playing his part in the current administration.

Speaking to journalists that accosted him recently in Lagos, the Ikorodu-born politician said, "I consider myself lucky that I was once again re-elected by the good people of Ikorodu to represent them in the eight assembly. The opportunity has afforded me the opportunity to work with a very creative man of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode's calibre.

'I am happy to be part of this administration. This is largely because being here has afforded me the opportunity of learning many new ways of doing so many new things. Governor Ambode is not just performing, he is doing it in style and from that style, I am personally learning a lot of things.

"Take a good look at the delivery of some laudable projects like the LSETF, the 114 roads, operation light -up Lagos, the One  Lagos fiesta and even the just concluded Lagos marathon, and you will agree with me that there is something unique about the style of delivery in this administration. Things are not just being done, they are being done well.

"I am learning and at the same time, enjoying serving my constituents and the good people of Lagos State as a part of this wonderful and inclusive administration that listens. Different approach, different attitude, different execution, name it; the style of our dear governor is refreshing with a lot of new things to learn from it all," Agunbiade said.

He also shared his experience working with other principal officers of the assembly. According to him, the many success stories of the current assembly are outputs of the the dedication and maturity of the current leadership of the House. "The leadership of the house is made up of dedicated and matured principal officers led by Rt. hon Mudasiru Obasa.

And this is making the job easy for us individually and collectively. When you find yourself working with the type of lawmakers we have in LAHA and the Governor we have in Lagos State, you will definitely enjoy serving the state and your constituency both as a lawmaker and a principal officer," he added.
