God the creator of the universe also detest darkness, thus he said, "let there be light!"
Unfortunately, this is not the case of the residents of the Awobo community in Igbogbo who have been left in gross darkness for sometime despite sharing the light for them.
Speaking to Igbogbo/Baiyeku Info Magazine today, the CDA Chairman, Mr Majekodunmi and the likes of Barr. Yinka Oguntayo, Mrs Oyekan Salwa, Mrs Ayoola and Mrs Bola Johnson expressed their concerns about the unwarranted suffering witnessing by the lackadaisical attitude of the electricity body.
The body had been ignorant to their plight in Awobo Community and this made them to throng out enmasse to the Ikeja power distribution company's office at Igbogbo to register their displeasure of the carefree attitude of the body and to restore their light within a shortest period, Mr Majekodunmi added.
No sooner than the people got there, the Electricity Boss, Mr Tony Ajisegiri, addressed the residents to be calm and promised to quickly swing into action to ensure that power is restored at Awobo Community within a week.
