"What God has joined together, let no man put asunder." This played itself out in a conjugal bliss of the newest and latest couple in Town. No sooner than when Ameenah Oduguwa and Abdulfattah said I do that the Muslim Clergy pronounced them husband and wife.
All roads led to the Lagos State Polytechnic Staff Hall, Odogunyan, where all and sundry and the cream of the society converged to felicitate with the new couple on Saturday, 8th of April, 2017.
In fact, marriage is indeed an institution by which everyone must enrol in. Virtually all the calibre of people who graced the ceremony without any iota of doubt were not without their spouses and this made the occasion glamorous. Fabrics and attires of different colours rented the air and the guests were beaming with smile.
The families of Oduguwa and Olowu, were full of praises to the Almighty Allah for making the dream come to reality. When Igbogbo/Bayeku Info Magazine spoke with the bride, Ameenah, the daughter of Comrade Lateef Oduguwa, the NUT Chairman, Ikorodu, she thanked Allah and gave special tribute to her parent, for the care and training they gave her.
The Staff Hall, Laspotech was agog with dignitaries, prominent personalities, philanthropists and people of works of life to celebrate with the newest and latest couple in town, among whom were the Ag. Commissioner and Special Adviser, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon. Mrs Adebimpe Akinsola, the Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. SOB Agunbiade, Education Secretary, Ikorodu Division, Mr Oduloye, PRO, Laspotech and Mr Lanre Kuye.
Others were Leaders of Teachers, Ikorodu Division, Head Teachers, Ikorodu Division, GTTC old students, State NUT Board of Trustee, Onward movement of Nigeria, Oga Primary School Staff, Pioneer Club Igbogbo, Islamic leaders from Ikorodu Division and lots of well wishers.
The attendance will be incomplete without mentioning one of the coordinators, the Head Mistress, Lajo Primary School, Igbogbo, Madam Bisi Bello, Mrs Olufunke Bakare and lots of notable people from Olowu family, Igbogbo.
More stories on the memorable wedding would be published in the coming Edition of Igbogbo/Bayeku Info Magazine.
