The road has been abandoned halfway which is beginning to be deteriorating. It was a promise made that the road will be tarred but nothing of such was done. The Chairman, Lantan CDA, Mr Adeola Olagunju revealed that 1,614 houses are on one face/leg of the only transformer serving the whole community in Lantan alone. He further established that the government had abandoned them since 2007.

Mr W. A.. Adekoya, another CDA Chairman from Ire Community buttressed the argument of Mr Adeola to further ascertain the urgent need of more transformers while Prof. Boyejo, a senior citizen, accused the government of marginalization of Agunfoye, as such, the CDAs and individuals have been responsible for the welfare of the community.

However, Mr Olaonipekun emphatically said that they would need up to 4 transformers so as to make life bearable for them.

In response to all, Hon. Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka thanked everyone for their contribution and applauded Hon Adebimpe Akinsola's efforts. He assured Agunfoye residents that the road completion will be included in the 2018 budget of Lagos State.

Hon. Sholaja further informed them that their letters must pass through their representative if their needs will be met urgently. He therefore assured the Elders in Council of 2 transformers when given.

The erudite legislator also intimated the Elders that the government of Lagos State is working assiduously round the clock to make life meaningful for its inhabitants. Although, the PHCN isn't encouraging but they will not relent until the right things are done. Sholaja further urged the Elders and residents of Agunfoye to vote for APC in the coming election so as to avert set back.

The Iyaloja of Agunfoye affirmed that the only Primary Health Center, Agunfoye had been neglected for years and needs immediate resuscitation.
