LAGOS LAWMAKER GAVE DAD A BEFITTING BURIAL IN IMOTA

No doubt, there was a vivid evidence on Saturday 10th of December, 2016, that, when a couple is requesting for children from God, they must be specific. This of course was a scenario which showcased how HON. NURUDEEN SHOLAJA-SAKA gave his father, Chief Ambali Sholaja, an encomium and a befitting burial that brought out all the Creams of the Society. There wouldn't be argument that, if the dead could look back, Chief Ambali Sholaja will gladly smile and echo "Bravo" my son to Hon. Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka.

The burial ceremony was melodious by the largesse of the prominent personalities who graced the occasion: The Majestic emissaries of our Royal Fathers from Ikorodu Division, led by the Ayangberen of Ikorodu, HRM Oba Kabir Shotobi, followed by HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Olubeshe of Ibeshe, Oba Richard Ogunsanya with their wives and Chiefs, while the Ranodu of Imota, HRM Oba Ajibade Agoro welcome them to the burial Ceremony.

The Political Leaders, led by Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Chief Kaoli Olusanya, Chief Dele Olowu,, to mention but a few. Members from Lagos State House of Assembly, led by the deputy Speaker, Hon Wasiu Eshilokun, Hon SOB Agunbiade, Hon Alimi, Hon Yusuf, Hon Yishawu and many more. Members of the Lagos State Exco led by the Acting Commissioner and Special Adviser on Tourism, Art and Culture, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, Permanent Secretaries, Board of Directors, the Six Local government Council Administrators in Ikorodu division, and many other top government functionaries were all present. The APC members led by the LGA Chairmen were all added colour to the burial.

The ceremony which was covered by Igbogbo/Bayeku Info Magazine saw Hon. Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka expressed his undiluted gratitude because of the calibre of people who graced the occasion. It was conspicuous that the presence of these people really bolstered him for his resilience that he was not alone. Alhaji Taiye Currency entertained the guests.
