C.A.N. HONORED MONARCH AND EMINENT PERSONALITIES IN IGBOGBO

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, on Saturday, 3rd of December, 2016, honored HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, as the Grand Patron of CAN, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. This came to live in a Special Prayer organized for Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, with Award Presentation and Launching of 2017 CAN Almanac at Adeboruwa Palace, Igbogbo.

Some of the notable personalities who were also honored include Chief Dele Olowu and Chief Jelili Oduntan as the Grand Ambassadors of CAN. Also in the list were Chief Rachel Obayomi, the Iyaloja of Igbogbo, Elder Oluwole John Sotala, the Chairman, Ikorodu Division Master Bakers Association, among others, were all given CAN Leadership Service Awards.

In the course of the programme, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, who said his Palace is opened to all religious groups, salutes the enthusiasm of the leadership of CAN in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and pleaded with them that he doesn't want any division within Christian Community in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
