AMBODE FLAGGED OFF "RENT-TO-OWN AND RENTAL HOUSING POLICIES" IN IGBOGBO

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the executive Governor of Lagos State, on Thursday, 8th of December, 2016, flagged Off The Lagos State Rent-to-Own and Rental Housing Policies in Igbogbo. The programme that was supposed to commenced officially by11:00am started an hour behind schedule at 12noon at the Adeboruwa Housing Estate, Baiyeku Road, Igbogbo.

His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode who was ably represented by Hon Tunde Buraimo, member, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Kosofe Constituency lI, in his address, assured the Lagosians of the commitment of the Lagos State government to make life better for its people.

The Deputy Director of Operations, Lagos Mortgage Board, Mrs Mobola Fasola, in her message on behalf of the DG, Lagos Mortgage Board, stated the modalities for qualifications as follows:

1. Lagos resident Identity Card, LASRA, 
2. Evidence of Tax Payment, and must be a first time House buyer,
3. The buyer must be above 21years of age,
4. The buyer will pay 5% initial deposit and balance gradually.

HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, used the opportunity to thank the Lagos State government for their efforts in making life meaningful to the people of Lagos State. He implored the government not to relent in their good policies.

In attendance at the programme were Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Hon Modirat, Mrs Aramide Giwason, represented the Commissioner for Housing, the Sole Administrator, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mrs Bolanle Basorun, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and his amiable Chiefs. The APC Party Leaders, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Chief Dele Olowu, Alh. Sefiu Ogunyemi, among others were all participated.
