It was so appalling when the building construction of the new structure of the PHC Igbogbo was suddenly halted by the authority of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA due to alleged lack of due process in its execution. The unwarranted stoppage was today 4th of March, 2017, resolved amicably among the aggrieved parties who felt neglected.
Basically the deplorable state of the PHC was of recent reported by Igbogbo/Bayeku Info Magazine when the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, visited the Center. Perhaps, this might be what arrested the attention of Hon Jimi Benson, MHR, to have magnanimously extends his largess towards Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA to provide a Health Center that will be fully equipped with modern day technology.
However, the erudite legislator, Hon Jimi Benson, had embarked on three projects, two Schools at Imota and Maya respectively, while Igbogbo is furbished with Health Center. As at the time of compiling this report, work has resumed at the Public Health Center Igbogbo which was abruptly stopped due to the nonchallant attitude of the Contractor who commenced foundation laying without the due process and other logistic reasons.
Surprisingly, Hon Jimi Benson, MHR, visited the site with the Sole Administrator, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Chief Mrs Bolanle Basorun on Saturday, 4th of March, 2017, to ensure speedy process of the work after resolving the rift between the Contractor and the Council Authority amicably.
