JUBILATION AS FIDIMOLU OF ELEPE, OBA GANIU ADEKOYEJO OMOTAYO COMES OUT FROM IPEBI. | Shakiru Seidu

The traditional township of Elepe Community in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA of Lagos State, came alive again on Friday, 13th of September, 2024, as the newly installed King, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ganiu Adekoyejo Omotayo, Olutemowo 1, Fidimolu of Elepe Kingdom, came out from Ipebi, the spiritual seclusion rites, where he has been for two months.

The Kingmakers, Osugbos, as well as Royal families welcomed the King, as he was presented with the ancient Crown. The Monarch was dressed in traditional attire, and acknowledged cheers from the crowd, after observing rituals from the key areas of the community.

Families, groups, Associations among notable dignitaries were gathered at the Elepe Palace, and unequivocally rejoiced with the King, while the Son of Late Yusuf Olatunji entertained the guests with melodious Apala music.

According to one of the Committee Members on Media, Mr Azeez Okemati, noted that the processes are still remained three stages before the final Coronation Ceremony, which was scheduled for early next year.

The choice of a quiet achiever, liberal, visionary, cultured, goal-getter, and profound gentleman, as a King of Elepe Community, has no doubt left the people of the Kingdom in joy and celebration.
